Although plagued by legal troubles with ex Infinity Ward executives (the developers of Call of Duty franchise), Activision insists on having one instalment of the franchise released per year. Eight entry in the Call of Duty series will be Modern Warfare 3, and although no official release dates have been given yet, L.A. Times have speculated that it will be released in November 2011.
