Dead Space 2, the space-based third-person shooter from developer Visceral and publisher Electronic Arts, has managed to take the first position in the United Kingdom video game chart, demonstrating that a solid and innovative sequel has the ability to outperform the original on which it was based.
Dead Space 2 is the first big multiplatform release of the year.
Second place in the chart went to another title launched during this year, Little Big Planet 2 from developer Media
