Electronic Arts has released the first teaser trailer for Battlefield 3, along with the announcement that the game should come out in Fall 2011.
According to GameInformer, BF3 will include some Battlefield 2 features that were sadly missing from Bad Company games, such as "“64-player multiplayer on PC, jets, and the ability to go prone.”
No other specifics have been released so far, but a more detailed showing of BF3 is expected to take place during the Game Developers Conference on
